Linet Kwamboka biography; A Kenyan computer scientist and business woman, born in 1988 in Nyamira County, Kenya.
Linet Kwamboka studied in the University of Nairobi pursuing in Computer Science and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 2008. She also taught herself in Geographic Information System (GIS), data mining and analysis.
After university in Dec 2011, she led Kenya Open Data Inititive encouraging the government to make more information open and publicily available. She has worked with the World Bank. She also worked as a Software Engineer with Carnegie Mellon University and Stanford University. Kwamboka founded Data Science Limited in 2013 which is involved in data analytics and open source policy issues. In 2017, she was one of the ten first people of the “Mozilla Tech Policy Fellowship”
