Young Walter was born and raised in Bungoma County.
Walter Machio is an Accountant by Profession having attended and graduated from Daystar University in 2000 with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting.
Walter started blogging back in 2006 while still working as an Accountant and also a part time instructor in by the League Ndogo. Being a beginner in the blog-spere, so the young and ambitious Walter usually would aggregate RSS feeds from by then leading sports website like Kenya-Footy, Football-Kenya and Capital-FM Sport portal to his small Sports news niche website. A decade later, Walter has amassed a lot of wealth in blogging experience together with his Team. Currently his all grown blog is ranked amongst the best 40 best websites according to alexa.com and among the top ten bets local websites, getting as many as close to 100,000 hits a day which is encouraging.
Walter founded and started MichezoAfrika in 2006 as a Soloprenuer due to his passion in sports but later, together with his co-founders and team, he launched it to be a leading, trusted and most comprehensive online content development portal in Kenya delivering timely, factual and up to date sports news as it happens but above all telling the untold stories of Afrika Sports.
